You end up with a complete building on your site — lined, wired, fitted out and ready to be connected, not a shell you finish yourself. The dimensions are yours. So is the layout: where the door goes, how many rooms, whether it’s one open span or partitioned, what the windows look at. We work from what the building has to do rather than from a catalogue number, so an office for six people, a schoolroom, and a granny flat all get drawn differently even if they end up the same footprint.
How it works
You tell us the purpose, the rough size and what the site is like. We come back with a drawing and a fixed quote covering the building, transport and set-down, so you can see the whole cost before you commit. Once you approve it, the build starts in the factory while you get the site ready — footings, and a clear run in for the truck. When it’s finished it’s transported to you and set down, and a licensed tradesperson connects power and water at your end. You’re not managing a sequence of trades on your own block for weeks.

That matters because the building is genuinely made by us, not brokered. Elite Portables designs and builds at its own manufacturing facility in Toowoomba, and every building is completed under cover on that line — finished indoors, then delivered, rather than assembled in the open on your block. It’s the reason a custom change is a change to the drawing rather than an argument with a supplier, and the reason weather during the build has nothing to do with how your building turns out.
What it costs
Price comes down to a few things, and none of them are mysterious. Size is the big one. After that it’s the fit-out — a bathroom or kitchen adds plumbing and cabinetry, a classroom or office adds power points, data and lighting; insulation, cladding and window count all move the number. Then there’s getting it to you: how far it travels, and whether the truck can reach the set-down point without extra lifting gear. Footings and the final service connections are usually separate, done by your own trades. We quote the lot up front so you’re comparing one number, not a base price plus surprises.
The factory is at 16 Nans Road, Helidon Spa — a real address with a build line on it, not a dispatch point for something made elsewhere. If you’re nearby, your building is drawn, made and finished within a short drive of where it will stand.
Getting started
Send us three things: what the building is for, the approximate size you have in mind, and a description of the site — access, slope, how close power and water are. Is the building put together on my property?
No. It’s completed under cover on our factory line and delivered finished. Your site only needs to be ready to receive it and have the services connected.
Does building indoors make a difference to the result?
Yes. Because the building is finished under cover rather than assembled in the open on your block, the weather on any given week has no bearing on the quality of the finish.
